HONDA GX340 ENGINE.

This model is equipped with the professional HONDA GX200 OHV engine with 196 cc of displacement that delivers a maximum power of 4.7 kW.

Thanks to the OHV configuration, combustion is very efficient, obviously complying with all European standards.

Starting is very easy and light, thanks to the efficient decompression system and the ergonomic handle.

The power-to-displacement ratio is very high, thus allowing it to withstand demanding workloads, guaranteeing a maximum of 3500 rpm.

Obviously the materials are of the highest quality, thus allowing the engine to last longer.

Fuel consumption is low, as are vibrations and noise (105 dB measured).

ADDITIONAL PROTECTIONS.

To ensure a longer life for the machine, OREC has added additional protections to all flail mowers.

• ENGINE PROTECTION: a grille placed in front of the engine air intakes to further protect it from dirt, debris and dust.

• MUFFLER PROTECTION: a protective grille to ensure greater safety for the operator from possible contact or impacts.

TRANSMISSION OREC.

The transmission is one of the fundamental parts of the car, and OREC knows this, in fact it designs and builds the transmissions directly in-house, thus guaranteeing extremely high quality.

It is equipped with a mechanical gearbox with 3 forward speeds and 1 reverse speed.

1st gear reaches 0.85 km/h, 2nd 1.78 km/h, 3rd 3.14 km/h, while in reverse the maximum speed is 0.85 km/h.

It is also equipped with a differential lock.

OREC's special attention to transmission avoids costly maintenance-related breakdowns or damage and guarantees a long life.

This transmission is also complete with SFA SYSTEM (automatic braking system), i.e. a brake that blocks the machine on slopes.

TRACTOR WHEELS.

For better grip, OREC uses a very accentuated TRACTOR profile to allow for less crushed material to be mixed into the tread, ensuring optimal traction at all times.

The rear wheel size is 4x 7.00 with the 8-tractor tire pattern.

FLAG CUTTING GROUP.

The best cutting system for finely reducing shrubs and vegetation is definitely with Y-flails.

OREC has been using this system for many years now. This model is equipped with a rotor with 32 flails, thus ensuring that its machines are not affected by grass, shoots, branches and shrubs.

The oscillation of the knives prevents damage to the machine when it comes into contact with obstacles, for example stones or particularly hard and resistant materials.

The cutting dimensions are adjustable in height from a minimum of 20 mm to a maximum of 110 mm for a width of 52 cm.

HANDLEBAR AND CONTROLS.

To ensure greater durability over time, the handlebar is made entirely of metal.

The steering levers are particularly ergonomic, easy to grip and operate without effort.

By releasing the advance lever, the SFA system (see traction) comes into operation, which guarantees greater safety for the operator.

This handlebar has 4 adjustments to ensure greater operator comfort in use.

BELTS.

OREC only uses belts made in JAPAN.

The belts used are specific for agricultural machinery that have a reverse curvature transmission and belt tensioning pulleys.

To increase the useful life of these belts they use gears with reduced thickness and carefully study the positions of the various components used for tension.

These straps can withstand temperatures ranging from -30°C to +90°C.

They have high resistance to fire and oil.

HIGH LEVEL CONTROL CABLES.

The control cables of all Orec flail mowers are lubricatable and adjustable as standard.

They give softness to the levers and delicacy in the maneuver and guarantee longer life of use in dusty conditions.
