The PROTIG 200 AC/DC (200 A) is a multipurpose dual process device for TIG AC/DC and coated electrode (MMA) welding, with a compact and portable format. It allows you to assemble all types of materials up to 4 mm thick (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, magnesium or titanium). Its secondary point adjustment ensures optimal arc stability and constant current in all positions.
5 TIG WELDING MODES.
DC Standard : Direct current welding on most ferrous materials.
DC Pulsed : limits the temperature increase of the pieces to be welded. Ideal for very thin sheets.
AC Standard : welding of aluminium and its alloys (Al, AlSi, AlMg, AlMn...).
AC Pulsed : limits the temperature increase of the pieces to be welded. Ideal for very thin sheets.
AC Easy : facilitates the use of the device thanks to predefined parameters. The user simply selects the diameter of his tungsten electrode on the interface.
OPTIMIZED TIG SETTINGS.
- SPOT mode (TIG DC or AC): fast and precise spot welding before welding thin sheets.
- 2 types of triggering : HF non-contact or LIFT contact for work in electro-sensitive environments.
- 3 button managements : 2T, 4T and 4T LOG.
- Automatic torch detection: Comparable to lamella torches (French button), double button.
MMA WELDING.
- MMA : basic and rutile electrodes (up to Ø 4 mm).
- MMA Pulsed : Facilitates welding in vertical upright position (pipes/conductors)
- 3 integrated welding aids:
- Antisticking: reduces the risk of the electrode sticking in case of contact with the piece
- Hot Start: facilitates ignition and can be adjusted in seconds depending on the type of metal
- ARC FORCE: instant current increase in difficult welding situations.
