HIGH TILT motor

The HIGH INCLINATION HIE (High Inclination Engine) inherits all the proven technology of the HONDA GX engines with the addition of new and specific features developed specifically to improve its efficiency and performance when operating on steep slopes.

They allow you to work with maximum regularity even on slopes exceeding 35° without their working position giving rise to performance drops caused by power supply problems or, worse, failures related to lubrication problems.

Orec Transmission – Maximum efficiency at reduced costs

The transmission is a fundamental part of a machine, and its good design and construction make Orec machines more professional. For this reason, to ensure the highest quality, Orec designs and builds its own transmissions in-house. Orec flail mowers with mechanical transmissions are all equipped with a 3-speed forward and 1-speed reverse transmission, and are also equipped with a differential lock. The exceptional reliability of these transmissions, designed for heavy-duty work, prevents breakdowns or costly maintenance and ensures a long life.

Tracked advance group

The OREC HRC series flail mowers are equipped with a tracked drive unit. The steering clutches allow one of the tracks to be locked, ensuring simple and safe steering.

SBT – Frame Locking System

In case of steep slopes, it is possible to engage the frame lock which can be operated directly from the handlebars to prevent the cutting unit from oscillating and to always keep it close to the ground (only on the HRC673 and HRC813 models).

Flail cutting group

The best cutting system for finely reducing shrubs and vegetation, tested by Orec and proven over many years of field use, is the Y-flail. Grass, shoots, branches, small prunings, shrubs, brushwood: Orec flail mowers stop at nothing, ensuring thorough cleaning of land, orchards, and vineyards thanks to the powerful rotor with flail blades. The oscillating blades prevent damage to the machine when accidentally coming into contact with obstacles such as stones, rocks, or particularly resistant materials.

High-end control cables

All Orec flail mowers come standard with lubricatable and adjustable control cables. These provide smooth lever action and gentle maneuverability, ensuring longer life in dusty conditions.

Handlebars and controls

The solid handlebar is made of all metal parts for greater durability. The steering levers are particularly ergonomic, easy to grip and operate. By operating 2 special levers, you can adjust the height of the handlebars in 4 positions and laterally in 5 positions.

SFA System – Automatic Brake System

All OREC transmissions are equipped with a brake that stops the machine on slopes, ensuring operator safety. The brake is applied automatically when the forward control is released.

High strength straps

OREC uses only Japanese-made belts. These belts are specifically designed for agricultural machinery with reverse-curvature transmissions and tensioning pulleys. The reduced thickness and optimized positioning of the tensioning elements increase the service life many times over conventional V-belts.
