The Einhell FORTEXXA 18/20 TH cordless pruning chainsaw is a powerful member of the flexible Power X-Change family. This handy, lightweight, and ergonomic pruning aid is powered by an Einhell brushless motor, a brushless electric motor that is more durable and powerful than conventional carbon brush motors. Thanks to the OREGON guide bar and chain, even thicker branches are no match for the FORTEXXA. The FORTEXXA features several safety mechanisms: a tip guard to prevent kickback, kickback protection with an instant chain brake, and a chain catcher pin. Tool-free chain tensioning and chain change allow for greater ease of use. Automatic chain lubrication ensures easy maintenance thanks to the large oil filler opening. The sturdy chain catcher claw is made of metal, and the ergonomic handle features a non-slip grip for a firm and secure hold. For use, one 18-volt battery from the flexible Power X-Change range is required. For optimal results, a battery with 2.5 Ah or more is recommended. The innovative Power X-Change series from Einhell offers high performance and maximum flexibility: the lithium-ion batteries are interchangeable between the various devices in the Einhell system. Each battery can be used with all devices in the Power X-Change series. The battery and charger are not included in the scope of delivery. These can be purchased separately, for example in the practical Starter Kit with various power ratings. WARNING: This chainsaw is intended for use by professional tree care professionals only.
