With the quick-charging function, the battery reaches 80% charge in just 25 minutes using the STIHL AL 1802 MO quick charger. It is also designed for a lifespan of up to 1,200 charging cycles . The integrated Power Boost function automatically provides additional power during demanding applications, while the management electronics protect the battery by adapting power delivery in the event of overload.

Which tools are compatible with the AP 20.1 battery?
The AP 20.1 battery is part of the STIHL AP System / ALLPRO . It is fully compatible with all tools in the STIHL AP professional range (FSA brushcutters, HSA and HLA hedge trimmers, MSA chainsaws, BGA blowers and HTA pruners). However, it cannot be used with the AK System hobby line.
How long does the charge last while working?
The autonomy guaranteed by its 144 Wh allows continuous work for approximately 20 to 45 minutes on high-consumption tools (such as brush cutters or chainsaws) and over 90 minutes on low-consumption equipment such as hedge trimmers.
Can I use AL series chargers for the AP 20.1?
Yes, it is perfectly integrated into the STIHL ecosystem. You can use the standard AL 101 chargers or the rapid AL 301 and AL 500 models, which allow you to restore 100% of the charge in extremely short times (about 30-45 minutes with the AL 301/500).
Is it suitable for working in the rain or in humid conditions?
Absolutely. The AP 20.1 battery is designed for professional use and is certified IPX4 splash-proof, allowing you to continue working safely even in rain or on wet vegetation.
